Kris kringle
December 14, 2007It's revelation day for medindex group. I got two of what I wished for. Umbrella. Yay!
Let me share with you my gift history for this year's kris kringle….
I received I gave
something fresh colgate-fresh confidence fresh fruits
(apple,pear,bananas)
something musical high school musical vcd wind chime
something personally made bracelets clubhouse sandwich
something soft stuffed celfone holder(pig) hankies
It's curious how people have different interpretations of a relatively simple word. Take fresh for example. One officemate received a bag of goodies with the word fresh on the packaging, inside a heart in black ink. Eggnog -with freshly baked eggs, surf detergent- sun fresh, johnsons pure essentials soap-fresh variant, and more. She thought I was the giver because only a "genius" could come up with such an idea. I took the credit but until now I wonder what genius meant in that context.
Back to the point. I took the credit but honestly the only fresh I thought of were fruits or flowers. Fresh meat, veggies and fish also came to mind but those would be inappropriate for kris kringle.
Musical -(adjective) of, pertaining to, or producing music; of the nature of or resembling music; melodious; harmonious (dictionary.com). Which is why I gave a wind chime. Two persons received song hits. Not really musical but acceptable for kris kringle purposes. Lisette received xmas decors shaped as musical notes. I would not be able to come up with such an idea.
It's either I'm not really imaginative or just simpy forthright. I choose the second.
