Davao’s pineapple
March 26, 2009Davao = Durian. Right. But I have discovered that Davao’s pineapples are the sweetest. From among those that I’ve tasted at least. I’m not really a fan of pineapple because I get oral pruritus when I eat them. I became a convert after tasting the fruit at the Pearl Farm.
When my new job sent me to Davao City I discovered that not only Pearl Farm pineapples are the sweet ones. I think it is a general rule in Davao.
This was among the desserts served at the Waterfront Insular Hotel at Davao. Even the pineapples served us during site visit at the city’s “poorest” barangay were so sweet.
